The mission of No Cold Feet is to provide legwear items for at-risk individuals to support their minds throughout the transformation process and ensure they make a successful transition to the workplace. Throughout our 103 years in existence, The Hosiery Association’s (THA) members have knowingly and willingly shared their knowledge, given of their products and offered their resources to others who have experienced economic strife, war, natural disasters and acts of terrorism. Bestowing blessings upon those who are less fortunate thrives within the spirit of the hosiery industry.As announced during our Annual Convention and featured in the recent issue of Hosiery News and Insider, we are pleased to formalize these ongoing acts of kindness and generosity into a non-profit philanthropic initiative entitled, NOCOLDFEET™. Working Wardrobes ®, our newest key partner needs our help. Working Wardrobes®, an independent, nonprofit organization, helps men, women and teens in crises re-enter the workforce through wardrobing and career development. Clients receive professional wardrobing and personal grooming services, and access to the Career Development Center offering a Career Developer for one-on-one consultations, job referrals, internet access for job searches, resume development tools and a resource library. There are numerous events on the horizon for Working Wardrobes’ clients and we want to be able to offer our assistance (socks, hosiery, underwear, bras and shapers) where possible: Those of you who are able to participate in these event(s) please contact either of us and we will provide you with more details (product, quantities and shipping location).
